With Hospital Information System (HIS) Integration plays crucial role in patient care, ensuring continuous supply of essential medicines., quality and Pharmacovigilance adverse drug reaction (ADR) monitoring & reporting. Drugs are divided in systematic way to ensure safe, efficient storage, dispensing, and inventory management. Team provides vital support to clinical departments in therapeutic area and adverse drug reaction monitoring. Pharmacy services are provided for outpatients, inpatients 24-hours 7days with rapid response systems dispensing, preparation of non-sterile and sterile commodities as required are all well manned Dispensing areas are separate for emergencies, inpatients and outpatients. Bulk stores are in house, refrigerated stores and flammable goods storage well designed. Diagnostic kits, General surgical, Consumables- Gloves ,Eve covers ,Chemicals, Suture material Solids- tablets, capsules, powders, Liquid- syrups, suspensions, solutions Drops Injectables – Intravenous, Intramuscular, Subcutaneous preparations (kept separately, often refrigerated as per norms )Topical -ointments, creams, gels, lotions, Inhalation products- inhalers, nebulizer, sprays , Immunological products (vaccines, immunoglobulins) Investigational/New drugs clinical trials are stored separately, as well as kept on racks keeping categories in mind .

Medications division includes- Antibiotics, Antifungals, Antivirals Analgesics Pain and Palliative Care medicines. Medication for Noncommunicable disorders, Anti Cancers, Hormones, Anaesthetics, Antiallergics, Antidotes, Haematinics Multivitamins, Medicines for Neurological Disorders. Controlled substances / Narcotics & Psychotropics as per Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act India with special registers and storage. Medication error prevention protocols are inbuilt with regular audits – prescription audits, stock audits. Expiry monitoring ensured for patients safety and safety and prevention of waste of resources.
