Overview

Technology & Procedure

Department for excellent clinical care is well equipped with non-invasive cardiac diagnostics ,interventional /invasive procedures, Treadmill Test, Holter Monitors & Loop recording (heart rhythm audio continuously to endless tape (if magnetic tape is used) or to computer memory, or recording video feeds (such as from video surveillance or camera signals) on a video server.

Ambulatory BP, Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Rot ablator, or rotational atherectomy, specialized angioplasty for severely calcified coronary artery disease. Fractional flow reserve (FFR), diagnostic cardiac catheterization technique used to measure blood flow pressure in isolated segment of coronary artery, for evaluation of lesions in intermediate-grade stenosis, Pacemaker, tilt table test, passive head-up tilt test” or “head-upright tilt test for people who faint for recording blood pressure, heart rhythm and heart rate on a beat-by-beat basis table with tilts at different angles.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), for high-resolution images through infrared light to form cross-sectional image of coronary arteries, other heart structures. and comprehensive electrophysiology mapping including three-dimensional mapping that produces high-resolution images with lowest dose of radiation, transthoracic, transoesophageal, 3-D and foetal echocardiography, and electrophysiology testing including CARTO, electroanatomic mapping system clinical electrophysiology, catheter ablation for sustained atrial tachycardias, atrial arrhythmias after surgical correction of congenital heart disease, and ventricular tachycardia in setting of previous myocardial infarction or other structural heart disease, juvenile mitral stenosis, coronary artery disease including angioplasties, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies and congenital heart diseases.
